Classes

The Foundry does not offer generic classes, but unique group-led coaching to target individual goals. Train like a professional athlete, often with professional athletes, and by ex-professional athletes.

Open to all, our 45 minute classes constantly achieve 5* reviews: no frills, no gimmicks, no tag-backs, and we don't charge extra for DOMS.

You can purchase singles, 5-packs or 10-packs, or get an unlimited class membership for up to £179 per month. Unlimited classes are included with all semi-private and personal training memberships.

As well as on the website, classes can be booked using The Foundry's mobile app (downloadable from your app store).

City Strongman

"The toughest workout in the City!"

Devised by Ben Gotting, this class uses all the toys seen on TV's "World's Strongest Man" for London’s most brutal fat-burning workout! Think log pressing, sled dragging, prowler pushing, and the dreaded Atlas Stones....

It's the most fun you can have this sweaty (well, almost)... and it really is ’Better Than The Treadmill'.

Suitable for all levels of ability, including novices who lead active but not necessarily strongman lives.

Of course, if you've never pumped iron then we recommend booking a 30-day trial to make the most of the class.

Sweat

This class is programmed to burn more fat and maintain more lean muscle than any other bootcamp out there.

SWEAT uses a mixture of HIIT principles and real resistance training to more effectively (and safely) hit your goals.

This isn't just treadmill sprints and endless dumbbell curls in the dark...SWEAT is conditioning training unlike any other!

Working in a team environment, get ready for challenging calisthenics, battle ropes, Air-Dynes, Ski Ergs, and very wet garms.

Lift

Forget the little weights and wobble boards, our LIFT class is designed to build strength and muscle whilst carving in serious definition.

Each week we offer one lower-body, one upper- body, and one whole-body class. Using the trusty barbell through to our specialist kit, there is no other strength training class like this on the market. Programming is changed on a regular basis to incorporate new movements and hit different muscles (including those all important rear deltoids).

New faces are very welcome, but if you've never trained using compound lifts we recommend you book our 30-day trial so we can get your form looking crisp.

Hang

HANG is a unique body-weight based class taking advantage of the incredible facilities and equipment at The Foundry.

This is ‘callisthenics', combining body-weight strength training with high intensity conditioning, and the desire to climb a rope all the way to the ceiling.

It’s a great way to burn calories whist building a strong and athletic physique, and offers a reduced risk of muscle injury, physical imbalances, or mobility issues.

Box

This isn't 'boxercise'....

BOX is a totally unique class which mixes real boxing techniques and conditioning with kettlebell training to achieve maximum fat loss and muscle definition in the most fun, energetic way possible.

Increase your fitness, shape your body, and learn some new skills along the way all with an approved ABA boxing instructor.

Utilising a full-sized ring and specialist equipment, BOX is offered at The Foundry Vauxhall.

Move

The human body has evolved very little in the last 2000 years and yet we spend far more time now sat with our hips, knees and ankles fixed at 90 degrees than we ever used to.

The old adage is if you don’t use it, you lose it has never been truer when it comes to mobility and so our new class concept MOVE aims to improve and develop your ability to MOVE!

Bringing together elements of animal flow, martial arts and callisthenics as well as using some cool tools like Indian clubs and maces, this class will be like nothing you ever experienced before.

Run

Get your wheels on for London's most exciting running class.

You won't find any treadmills in the basement here though! Utilising our elite athletic running facilities and the local area, RUN provides a great excuse to get outdoors and explore. Throw your teammates into the mix and you have an entertaining and challenging group exercise class which is educational and effective.

In RUN we help re-educate and refine the basic skills of running; developing your speed, stamina and strength. Designed and coached by athletes, our RUN class combines effective sprint drills and running techniques with a variety of conditioning workouts across all the energy systems.

Semi-Private Personal Training

Professional athletes reach the top by training, pushing, and supporting each other as part of a team.

Available to members only, semi-private personal training is a popular new concept - private sessions with 1 elite coach training a maximum of 4 people. This allows for the quality coaching and attention of a 1:1 session, whilst being more affordable. Even better, you get all the benefits of class training - the competition, motivation and camaraderie.

Book a 30-day trial to receive 2 semi-private sessions a week, and unlimited classes, to really see what it is like to train like our regular guests Maro Itoje, Jordan Henderson, Christine Ohuruogu, and Chris Robshaw (amongst others).

All Semi-Private personal training memberships benefit from:

Personal Training

We are firm believers in semi-private personal training, but know some people have different goals, backgrounds, injuries and preferences. Some people also just like to sweat alone...

1:1 personal training services at The Foundry are completely bespoke to each client. We're not interested in short-term, dramatic before and after pictures that are impossible to maintain, but in helping you to use personal training as a means to achieving your aims.

We offer personal training memberships based on your training frequency, and you also receive unlimited access to our famous group classes.

You will also receive:

  • An assigned coach
  • A fitness & lifestyle assessment and goal setting session, including a body scan
  • Diet analysis with tailored nutrition advice and ongoing support
  • FREE MYZONE activity belt
  • FREE FITNESS GENES assessment: a DNA test in partnership with FITNESS GENES to further tailor your training

Transformations

Whether you are looking for an intensive blitz to start you on the right path, or need to look your best for that all important date in the diary, we offer blocks of intensive training and nutritional programming.

Unlike most studios, The Foundry prides itself on the balance of mind and body, embracing your individual needs and lifestyle choices. So, unless you want it, there are no uber-regimented diets or confusing methodologies...just varied and challenging workouts, mated to simple lifestyle rules that will have a massive impact in a very short period of time.

Available both as a traditional 1:1 package, or within a semi-private training network (working with up to 3 other ‘transformers' in semi-private personal training sessions), there are options to fit your goals and your budget.

Whether in a group or riding solo, all transformations benefit from:

  • 3 PT sessions a week
  • FITNESS GENES DNA test (results in week 4)
  • In-depth assessment, regular body composition testing, and goal-setting
  • Nutritional planning

Treatment

The Foundry houses expert therapists who can help keep you mobile, pain-free, and healthy. From a dedicated and private space, we provide high-quality physiotherapy, osteopathy, and massage to restore mechanical function to the body.

Treatment is available for injuries (sports and occupational), back problems, post fracture/surgery rehab, or just those aches and pains that you don't know how they started. Regardless of the issue, it's our goal to help you on the path to being healthy, balanced, and pain-free.

We welcome all GP and consultant referrals although you don't have to be referred to book an appointment with us. We are registered with all major health insurers.

Treatment at The Foundry is available weekays between 08:00 and 19:00, and Saturdays between 09:00 and 15:00. All bookings are for 30 minutes unless otherwise stated.

The team:

Andy Ireland (BsC Physiotherapy, MsC Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy) - a graduate of Teesside University, from 2007 to 2013 Andy travelled with Andy Murray as his personal physiotherapist, and was the British Tennis team physio at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.

Chris Eke (BsC, OST) - a graduate of the British School of Osteopathy, Chris specialises in the biomechanical assessment and treatment of sports injuries. A former professional rugby player, he has worked worldwide in specialised clinics.

Peter Dipple (BTEC Level 5) — a London School of Sports Massage graduate, Pete has trained all over the world. He also works at the Lawn Tennis Association's academy.

Matthew Walker (MsC) - a graduate with a Master's from the British School of Osteopathy. Whilst competing at a professional level in martial arts, a sports injury resulted in an introduction to the benefits of osteopathic treatment.
