At W10 we have a number of mobility cards available for our members, which they often use before their training sessions.
We take a look at four exercises to improve spinal mobility.
Spinal Mobility Exercising Tips
One of the exercises for spinal mobility that we recommend is the Iron Cross.
Another spinal mobility exercise for you.
Thoracic extension using a foam roller is another method we use at W10.
Continuing with spinal mobility, the next exercise on the cards is a T-spine rotation.
The final exercise for spine mobility is the cat-camel.
The cat-camel movement is an exercise that stretches the muscles that stabilise the spine.
With all the exercises for the spine we’ve mentioned, remember to avoid straining yourself, take it easy and breathe through the movements!
If you have any questions on the above or would like some advice on how we could help you, don’t hesitate, try one of our personal training sessions – or we would love to meet you.
