In my opinion there are 3 great reasons to start making your own salad dressings:
1. Eat clean
Knowing what is in your dressing is important. Many store bought brands use preservatives, undesirable oils and are full of hidden sugars.
2. Save money and time
You can make a large batch of a delicious dressing and store it in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
They take no more than 5 minutes to make and will cut costs of pricey store bought brands.
Making your own dressings will hopefully encourage you to eat more salads. They are perfect either for lunch/dinner or to take into work.
- 2 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Tbs Dijon Mustard
- ¾ Tbs Raw Honey
- ½ Cup Olive Oil
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- pinch salt
- In a medium mason jar, combine all ingredients
- Shake well until combined
- Serve over salad
- Store in fridge for up to 2 wks
